If a volunteer was rasing money (,000 – to volunteer in a 3rd world country) and came to your door selling a coupon book for with one coupon for a free something from a certain business(pizza, movie tickets, oil change, etc. valued at – so you made your money back) then there were more coupons to the same business you could use later to save money, would you buy it.

He (the volunteer) would recieve for each one he sold + once he sold 600, which would be ,000 of what he needed, a company would contribute the additional ,000 he needed.

On top of this, 10% of the intitial sale would be contributed to a local charity –

MEANING if 800 coupons were sold you would be a part of an action group that had raised ,200 for a local charity, and help a volunteer raise ,000 to go teach skills and serve in a 3rd world country.

My accord due for 15000 mile maintanence. I need an oil change, slight alignment adjustment and a brake pad as well.

I live in the OC (SoCal) and how much do I expect to pay? Anyone got coupons?

How long does it take and can I expect a free service loaner?

I just want to let you know guys what happened to me so that you guys dont get into the same trap as i did.
I bought a honda crv last may from florida and took an extended 7 year service plan for 700$ which was suppose to cover all maintenance repair works like oil change, mechanical repairs etc… according to my financial advisor. Now i moved to dallas tx and took my suv for first oil change to nearest dealer but they disagreed to accept the extended plan which WAS SAID TO BE good all honda showrooms in US.Now i have to pay out of my pocket for the services and also they dont want to do oil change every 5000 mails cuz the vehicle is designed to run till 10k without oil change. But I already paid for next 7 years in advance and if i wanted to do oil change, should they do it or not? Also the dealers recommended this plan to me and they sent me coupons for every 3500 mile oil service but the dealers dont want to do their job for which they already got paid… WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! SO PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR SUCH TRAPS FROM DEALERS GUYS!!!!!
This is the service plan they offered me at the showroom.

I had a coupon that came on the back of a pizza hut ad for 14.99 oil change and lube job. I called to try to redeem the coupon, and the manager said they don’t honor them, even though it says valid at all locations! She said her pizza delivery boys aren’t trained to change oil in cars, just drive them. Is this standard behavior of pizza hut employees? If they won’t honor their coupons, we shouldn’t order from them!

I have a Town and Country Mini Van and it has 16K miles on it. I called to make our regular oil change appointment at the dealership. We have coupons for the first 12 oil changes. We have always changed the oil every 3 months (I only drive 2K miles or so every 3 months).

So I was told I need to get the 15K mile service done and it will be 7.00. I asked what they did and they said, Engine Oil Flush, Fuel Injector Cleaner and Battery Service. I think this is a little much. What should I expect to pay for this type of service? Our other car we take to a drive through service station (Oil Stop) and I thought they did a Engine oil Flush for a lot less. Is it the same type of service? And what does a Fuel Injector Clean entail?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Last month I opened a mechanic shop in busy area and I put BIG ad with many specials and coupons in the local paper, I put flyers everywhere, I talk to people but still toooooo slow although we provide very professional repair and charge cheap! What I have to do how i promote this business how I let people come in even if its just oil change? I tried to lower the price for oil change but same thing nobody come in for oil change so its not about pricing.

At my local oil change place they put out coupons for 5w30 oil and they tell me my car (and my husbands and my daughters cars) all take 10w30 which, of course, there are no coupons and is to more than the sale price. Is there that much of a difference in the oil and if I did want to change to the 5w30 would it affect my car (especially if not all the 10w30 was removed before the new oil was put in). Thank you for your help. BTW we have a 1993 Prizm, a 1997 Contour and a 1999 Malibu.
Thank you for your answers, I really appreciate them.

I’m looking for *LOCAL* coupons related to auto service such as oil changes, winter specials, etc.

I usually get this local magazine sent to my home with coupons. Theres a website for this magazine online in case you want to print them out as well, but I don’t remember what it was and I threw away the last copy I got in either August or September.
Please don’t know tell me to google it. I have already done that and it shows lack of effort on your part. Not mine

I know nothing about cars and need to get an oil change. I’m paranoid about being taken for a ride and being over charged. Can someone tell me how much a regular oil change should cost for my Acura TSX 2004?

I found a drive-thru place for .99 + tax + waste fee (.99) and think that sounds high.

When I had my Corolla, I’d find these coupons and get oil changes for like . I just don’t remember where or if it was a decent place.
You guys are depressing me. Not only am I completely incompetent with cars (so I can’t do it myself) but am also single, old and desperate. Who knew that asking a simple question about an oil change would have me in tearz.

I found several coupons ranging from a oil change, to . Should I trust them with my car and oil, or should I pay regular price? They range from mom-and-pop stores, to retail chains.

Every time I need to change oil I look for mailed coupons. Sometimes it’s .95 with coupon. Now the cheapest I could find is FireStone: .99 after coupon. I know Walmart does it for like but you have to wait there half day.

How much do you pay for the oil change and where do you change it?
