I have a 2004 Dodge Intrepid with the 2.7L V6 engine. It has about 120,700 miles on it. The oil pressure light has been coming on when I am driving and staying on the entire time. I just had the oil changed and we put Mobil 1 0W-40 advanced full synthetic oil in it. After the oil change, the light still comes on when I am driving and stays on constantly. Is this the oil sending unit? If so, how much does this part cost and how much would it cost to have it fixed?
The engine runs and sounds fine. The check engine light was coming on, but it hasn’t come on for about a month now. It’s just the oil light.

It is possible that it is bad or you can look at it and make sure that the wires are connected to it,also is the engine running smooth and noise free,if so yea the unit is bad.
yep there is a oil sending unit and it could be bad or the wire came off. look by the oil filter for the sending unit.
yea it is your oli sending unit they only cost 35 dollars i will help fix it
or you could go get the light reset…
